BIOGRAPHY
Elizabeth Joanna Robertson, now known as Elizabeth Mitchell, is a California-born American actress famous for her lead role as Juliet Burke on the ABC series “Lost”, that was screened from 2006-2010.
Elizabeth Mitchell is notable in her role in “The Santa Clause” movie series. She also appeared as lead actor in other TV series like “Revolution” (2012 – 2014) and “The Expanse” (2018, 2021).

CAREER LIFE
One of Elizabeth’s earliest TV roles was as Dinah Lee in the soap opera “Loving” (1984 – 1985). In 1996, she starred as Laura Malloy in the TV series “LA Firefighters”. She played Jane Chasen in the series “Significant Others” in 1998. She starred as Ashley Holloway in “Time of Your Life” from 1999 – 2000 and as Dr Kim Legaspi in “ER” from 2000 – 2001 and in the series “The Lyon’s Den” as Ariel Saxon in 2003.


Elizabeth worked for six years at Dallas Theatre Center and for a season at Encore Theatre. She co-starred in the 1998 biopic “Gia”, playing the role of Angelina Jolie’s hairdresser. She also co-starred in the 2000 movie “Frequency”. While filming the movie “Frequency”, she broke her nose during one of the shooting sequences. This would be the reason it was told that she got a nose reconstruction surgery later on.


The film “Santa Clause 2”, had Elizabeth Mitchell play the role of Carol Newman who becomes Mrs Claus. This was in 2002. Elizabeth Mitchell was born in Los Angeles, California. Her mother is Josephine Marian Mitchell (née Jenkins), is a lawyer. After she had Elizabeth in 1970, she moved with her to Dallas, Texas, where she met and married Joseph Day Mitchel, a lawyer as well, in 1975. They had two other daughters; Kristina Helen Mitchell and Katherine Day Mitchell.
Elizabeth Mitchell identified and began to follow her passion quite early as she attended Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts located in the Arts District of Downtown Dallas, Texas.

Elizabeth Mitchell dated actor David Lee Smith from 1995 to 1996.
In 2000, while filming “The Linda McCartney Story”, Elizabeth started a relationship with her co-star Gary Bakewell. After a while, she was engaged to be married to him, but they called it quits in 2002.
Chris Soldevilla, an improvisation actor, later won her heart and they got married in 2004. They lived together on Bainbridge Island, Washington. The marriage was blessed with a son named CJ in September, 2005.
